Emergency Communications Academy is Coming to Orlando in February!
A panel of nationally recognized subject matter experts and trainers are conducting an emergency communications workshop in Orlando, Florida, on February 10, as part of the 2022 ARRL National Convention. This all-day Training Track will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld and includes a seat at the ARRL National Convention Luncheon, featuring a keynote by ARRL CEO David Minster, NA2AA.
Presentations will feature current protocols, techniques, and responsibilities for the modern volunteer radio operator serving partner public safety entities. Additional topics covered include the Amateur Radio Emergency ServiceĀ® (ARES), an overview of Amateur Radio response during disasters, the ARRL Emergency Communicator Position Task Books, emergency power, and so much more.
