Thursday night net. Please check-in if you are available. Surrounding counties are welcome to check-in so we can confirm our cross-county communications.
If the net is not called by 9:05 Pm, assume that net control is not available and call the net.
The Blount County ARES net normally meets on Thursday at 9:00 PM using 145.270 Mhz, tone 127.3, offset -0.600 Mhz as the primary frequency. This repeater is linked with 145.250 Mhz, tone 100. NOTE: Please let the repeater drop between transmissions. The tone maybe shutoff for the net, but it is a good to have your tone enable and set to the appropriate frequency. Alternate frequencies include, 146.625 Mhz, tone 118.8 (repeater), 146.55 Mhz and 445.900 Mhz (simplex).
Anytime there is severe weather or an area emergency you should monitor our primary frequencies and 147.42 simplex in case Blount Memorial Hospital should reach out for assistance.
NOTE: Net Control please send log of respondents to mailto:hngh@mindspring.com.
